Apricot Pastry-Délices & Gourmandises

Ingredients For 8 servings :

• 8 ounce Cream cheese; softened
• 8 ounce Unsalted butter; softened (2 sticks)
• 2 cups All purpose flour
• 1 12-oz can Apricot pie filling

Directions :

-Using paddle attachement, blend first 3 ingredients in mixer bowl. Refrigerate dough one hour

-Roll paper thin on well-floured board. Cut circles and put teaspoon of filling in center. Seal edges with wet fingertips and fork tines. Preheat oven to 375. Plce pastries on ungreased cookie sheet and chill until very cold. From refrigerator, place directly in oven.

-Sprinkle granulated sugar on top and bake 20mn.
-Cool on wire rack

    So easy to make but so delicious at taste. I think making fruit pastries is one the best way to enjoy fruits at their best so I followed this recipe but replaced the apricot by strawberry and it made a great desert for the whole family.
